for our First Annual
Caledonia Crawl

The Caledonia Crawl will begin at 10am on July 31st, immediately following the Lighthouse Run being held at Olympia Brown School. Buses will be shuttling people from the Race Grounds to Douglas Avenue all day long, giving everyone a chance to experience Caledonia's favorite bars, restaurants and biergartens without having to worry about driving. And with 4 bands playing on 2 stages, it's gonna be a party for everyone.

Best of all, the parking, the buses, the music - are all FREE.

So come to either of our two parking locations, at Hickory Hall or at Green Tree Shopping Mall, hop on the bus, and we'll see you on the Crawl!

The Route

The Stops

1. Lighthouse Run Race AREA

While there's no longer parking available at the Olympia Brown race grounds, it's still the only place in town that has a race! As soon as you cross the finish line, hop on the bus and let your Crawl begin!

2. The Soup Shanty

The Soup Shanty is one of Caledonia's most unique eating establishments offering a wide variety of Soup and Sandwiches.

3. Hickory Hall Parking Area

Parking at Hickory Hall has been generously donated by Catering by Danny. The Bus Stop will be near the entrance. Just search for the banner you passed on your way in. You can't miss it!

4. Milaeger's Farmers Market

The Farmer's Market is normally bustling on Sundays, but Milaeger's opened it just for the crawl. Incredible Bloody Marys, great beers, and the US Cellular Stage featuring Cork N' Classics from 10am-12pm, and then local musical legends BASCOM HILL take to the stage from 12pm-2pm.

5. Cafe Rendez-vous

Enjoy the artistic French ambience of this alluring continental cafe nestled inside Milaeger's. With delicious coffee from Collectivo, creative sandwiches and cheese boards, and a wonderful assortment of pastries and muffins, this is a perfect stop any time of the day.

6. Buca's Bar & Grill

Buca's is one of Wisconsin's greatest examples of the classic Wisconsin Tavern. Wood panelling, pool, darts, cheeseburgers, and pretzels to die for, but most importantly, Buca himself who will gladly come and pour you a shot of his favorite drink, FIREBALL!

7. C & C Mosquito Inn

Stopping by C & C's Mosquito Inn, one of Caledonia's oldest taverns, is always a treat. Enjoy their amazing outdoor terrace for great beers and outdoor lawn games.

8. Paparazzi Ice Cream

Great stone-rolled ice cream, rolled thin and delicious for each and every customer. Enjoy this exciting new twist on a classic summer favorite while cooling off on the Caledonia Crawl.

3. Douglas AVENUE Diner

Grab lunch at Caledonia's famous 50's themed Douglas Avenue Diner. Grab a shake, grab a late breakfast, grab a little bit of nostalgia in their one-of-a-kind ambience.

3. Mocha Lisa Coffeehouse

Take in the cozy, living room feel of Mocha Lisa Coffeehouse and enjoy the amazing gourmet coffee concoctions cooked up by their excellently trained barristas. While there, sample their delicious pastries and enjoy the work of local Caledonia artists on the walls.

Mulligan's Mini-Golf

Come for the great beer list and sports bar ambience inside, and then head outside for the mini-golf, the professional driving range, and the music filled biergarten which will have Gary Ricchio performing from 1pm-3pm, and then Bullfrog from 3pm-5pm.

12. Sebastian's Fine Food & Spirits

Sebastian's, known for it high-end cuisine and upscale rustic ambience has been hard at work crafting a signature spritzer to help cool off and celebrate the day. Check back here for more.
